An invalid checksum error means that the file is invalid. In other words, you download isn't complete. This can be caused by anti-virus and other security software, by disrupted internet connections, conflicting processes, and other computer activity. Delete the file you have and download again. It would be a good idea to shut down any other programs from running while doing so to prevent future file corruption. You can also get additional tips here: Troubleshoot download problems.
I tried this download 8 times. No interruptions, no internet hiccups that I could see, and always with the same invalid checksum issue. I suspect that the file on the site may be damaged. Am I the only person having this experience? We haven't had a rash or reports so it's likely system specific.
Are they the steps that the chat agent suggested for turning off Verify Checksum? You will want to make sure and turn it back on after they are done with the install. If they keep having problems they will want to look at their Internet Connection or possibly OS. That is what I did. Then the installer could not initialize. The internet connection is high speed. I download things all the time that work.
The OS is My many years of dealing with these things has taught me that while it is easiest to assume the problem is on the user end, my experience is that this is not always the case.
